Chrissy Johnson   - She has been known to clear the ring with Devastation.

Christy Hemme   - Has been more of commentary use in TNA.

Cindy Rogers   - She is hardcore, she is a brawler, and has been champion in several promotions.

Fabulous Moolah   - Considered the best ever... she held the title for almost 30 years.

WWE Divas, TNA Knockouts, the women of Shimmer, ChickFight, Ring of Honor, WXW and Independent circuits all across the world.

Women's wrestling distinguished itself in the 1940s and 1950s with wrestlers like Mildred Burke, Jane Byers and the Fabulous Moolah. Moolah ran the show for almost 30 years and has had it's ups and downs. At times, women wrestling got no exposure at all.

The 1980s brought a new spark to professional women's wrestling when WWE (WWF at the time) went with a "Rock-n-Wrestling" theme which brought many new viewers to attention as musicians and MTV aligned with WWF wrestlers. This included a match on MTV between the Fabulous Moolah, managed by Captain Lou Albano and Wendy Richter who had Cyndi Lauper in her corner.

Wrestlers FEMALE!

Wendy was a young, vibrant wrestler fitting for a fans of a new wrestling generation, and this heavily publicized match was viewed by many to see Wendy take the Women's title that had been around Moolah's waist for 28 years.

Though rebirth of fan appreciation wasn't long-lasting due to the politics and respect of WWF and it's female wrestlers. A few glimpses of shine came in the "dark years" of women wrestling between 1986-2000 as Sable had for a short time in the WWF.

In 2000, came a new breed of wrestlers female and as able as any man. As wrestling was taking on a different form, so was female wrestling. We were introduced to wrestlers like Lita, Trish Stratus, Molly Holly and Chyna. Not only were these female wrestlers attractive, they were athletes and women who wanted to wrestle to entertain, risking their bodies and injury.

Because of these influences and other inspirations like Rey Mysterio Jr, a slew of very talented female wrestlers had hit the underground circuits one by one showing up in televised promotions and getting respect from fans like never before. Michelle McCool, MsChif, Awesome Kong, Natalya Neidhart, Angelina Love, Mickie James, Tara (Victoria), Daffney, Melissa Anderson, Velvet Sky, Melina Perez, Tracy Brooks, Jazz, Gail Kim, ODB, Mercedes Martinez, Allison Danger, Jacqueline, Taylor Wilde... this list could go on and on with the new wonderful talent that has arisen in the female division. These wrestlers female and talented as their counterparts, have taken a shared stage in WWE, TNA, ROH, and exclusively in Shimmer and ChickFight.
