Awesome Kong is Awesome

Born September 4th, 1977 Kia Stevens was born in Carson, California. Kia Stevens, we know her as Awesome Kong, quickly made a name for herself in wrestling. She started making a name for herself wrestling in Japan under the name Amazing Kong.

For an American to make a name in Japan wrestling is a task in itself. Awesome Kong ran through All Japan Wrestling to become the Champion.

Her time in TNA Wrestling has been no different. She has cleared a path beating anyone who has faced her. She sets her sites on her victims and often carries an 8 X 10 of them into the ring. She has beaten Gail Kim for the TNA Knockouts title and has victories over anyone she has faced.

Awesome Kong is not a conversationalist. When her entrance music comes on so do the beatings.

In 2008, Awesome Kong defeated Gail Kim to become TNA Knockouts Champion. She held the title until April 19th, 2009 when the "Beautiful People" got their claws in her. Though don't mistake the end result, they were carried off in stretchers and dismantled by Awesome Bombs.

Raisha Saeed once accompanied Kong almost everywhere, Awesome Kong had enough of her at one point and went on her own. For most that don't know who is under the mask of Raisha, you are in for a surprise. In January of 2010 she became TNA Tag Team Champions along with Hamada.

Her favorite moves are the Amazing Press (body splash), Accordion Rack, Running Splash, Implant Buster and Uraken.
