Daffney Wrestler - Born Shannon Claire Spruill July 17th, 1975 in Wiesbaden, West Germany; Daffney is a professional wrestler for TNA. She was an army brat traveling from home to home most of her childhood.

Daffney graduated from Georgia State University March of 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Film and Video Production. She had the desire to be an actress.

In November of 1999 responded to a WCW (World Championship Wrestling) contest and was hired. By 2001, WCW released her and was then soon purchased by WWE (then WWF).

Since then Daffney has been running the Independent Circuit including Ring of Honor and Ohio Valley Wrestling. She retired from wrestling in 2004 after knee surgery and sold her wrestling boots to her roommate Mickie James.

In February 2006 Daffney returned to the Independent Circuit in NWA and WEW and Shimmer in April 2007.

In December 2008 she came to TNA as The Governor impersonating Sarah Palin.

It didn't take long for her to come back into her old character as Daffney.
