FCW Results - August 6th, 2009

- Gabriel pinned Espiral. After the match Gabriel cut a promo about wanting to become FCW Champion

- Sheamus & Drew McIntyre defeated Max McGuirk & Wes Brisco when Sheamus pinned McGuirk

- The Abraham Washington Show (hosted by Abraham Washington along with Rosa Mendes and Troy Jackman) featured Alberto Banderas (formerly Dos Caras Jr.). This was actually a very entertaining segment where Washington thought he had Antonio Banderas instead of Alberto Banderas. Washington making fun of Banderas's gold led to an altercation between Banderas and Jackman which Banderas got the better of. The segment finished with Washington saying he was going to have karate lessons next week so Jackman can learn how to fight.

- Dawson Alexander pinned Curt Hawkins

- Lance Archer pinned a returning Eric Escobar

- Brett DiBiase, Bo Rotundo & Duke Rotundo beat Trent Beretta, Caylen Croft & Dylan Klein after DiBiase pinned Beretta

- FCW Florida Heavyweight Champion Tyler Reks retained his title in a triple threat match against Heath Slater and Joe Hennig when Reks pinned Slater

In a Fatal Four-Way, Skip Sheffield defeated Michael Tarver, Dawson Alexander, & Eric Escobar when Sheffield pinned Alexander.

In a Six Man Tag, Caylen Croft, Curt Hawkins, & Tyson Kidd defeated Brett DiBiase, and Bo & Duke Rotundo when Hawkins pinned DiBiase.

Notes about the show:

- Jimmy Uso cut a promo announcing his intention to find a partner and pursue the Florida Tag Team Title.

- ECW’s Savannah was the ring announcer for the evening.

- The “South Beach Boys”, Nick McCall & Darren Young,  cut a hilarious promo that included McCall referring to the team as “fancy” and “fabulous”.

- Former Cleveland State University wrestling standout, Rashard Goff, had an impressive FCW Arena debut in his loss to Joe Hennig.

- Wrestling legend Bugsy McGraw was in attendance and addressed the FCW arena audience.

- Noticeably absent from the show were Trent Beretta, Mia Mancini, Christoph Herzog, A.J. Lee, Eli Cottonwood, Johnny Curtis, Sweet Papi Sanchez, & Tiffany, who is recovering from a broken humorous.

- 2 matches were announced for the October 8 FCW Show: “Queen Of FCW” Mia Mancini vs. Natalya, and the main event will be Justin Angel defending the FCW title against Smackdown superstar and former FCW champion, Drew McIntyre.
