Hamada, born Ayako Valentina Hamada Villareal February 14th, 1981 in Mexico City, Mexico. She is of mixed decent, Japanese and Mexican. Hamada is a second generation wrestler, her father known as Gran Hamada. She also has an older sister in professional wrestling, Xochitl Hamada.

She began her wrestling career in 1998 and won her first title in 2 years. Hamada continued wrestling in Japan clear into 2006, though also wrestling for promotions in Mexico up to November 2008. At this time she considered an opportunity training which she did for a short time before TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling gave her a contract in April 2009. Her debut will come in August 2009, but she is no stranger to some of these competitors having had some of the most brutal matches in Japan with Aja and Awesome Kong.
