Ayako Hamada, female wrestler from Japan has begun to lace her boots for Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling after spending the last 11 years wrestling amongst Japan's elite. This includes some brutal matches with Aja and Awesome Kong. She may be the biggest surprise in female wrestling since WWE Lita debuted in 2000. If you haven't seen this warrior go at it, you will see many new moves and exceptional strength, she does have the ability to man handle Awesome Kong, it has happened before!
Her conception in TNA will bring a new physicality to the entire Knockout division. Hamada is a perfect match to TNA with her ability to take it to the bigger wrestlers with her brutal offense and still maintain a very quick and athletic match with the faster opponents.
In a time when TNA is on the rise and where the TNA Knockout division is admired as the best female division in all of wrestling, Hamada has been brought in to give this company an even bigger jump start that are putting TNA in an eye-shot of WWE wrestling.
Without the rival competition of another wrestling organization, WWE has a tendency to relax their line ups and the quality of matches and story lines suffer for it. With the TNA surge and the group of quality wrestlers they possess, including male and female wrestlers, are sure to raise eyebrows in the WWE front office. Vince McMahon has always been smart to recognize his competition, it will be interesting to see how this works out.
On April 8th, 2009 it was announced that Ayako Hamada would be having her last match in Japan as she joined TNA, Total Non-Stop-Action Wrestling.
Hamada's debut match came in August 2009. Since then she has been a crowd favorite only because of her pure talent. Her only singles loss in TNA came at the hands of Tara. January 4th, 2010 Hamada and Awesome Kong won the TNA Tag Team Titles from Taylor Wilde and Sarita.
