Melina Perez Diva Bio.

Melina Nava Perez was born March 9th, 1979 in Los Angeles, California. She speaks fluently in both Spanish and English.

Melina started as a model, she won a Miss California beauty contest and modeled for Nike.

In 2000 she got advice from wrestling star Mike Henderson and began training at Jesse Hernandez School of Hard Knocks. Melina made her debut in EWF (Empire Wrestling Federation) in April 2002. She was known there for having the most natural ability. That year she auditioned in WWE Tough Enough III making it through to the final cut in the first episode. At that time Al Snow told her to continue trying.

She got her shot at Ohio Valley Wrestling in March 2004 in an angle with John Morrison. Melina became aligned with Joey Matthew and John Morrison who at the time were known as Joey Mercury and Johnny Nitro. This trio was known as MNM. April 14th, 2005 MNM, Mercury, Nitro and Melina came to the WWE.
