NWA Women Title history begins in 1935.

1935 - Mildred Burke became the 1st champion by defeating Clara Mortensen.

1954 - Mildred Burke vs June Byers; This match was a no contest yet the promoter gave the title to June Byers.

1956 - June Byers retires; title becomes vacant.

September 18th, 1956 - The Fabulous Moolah becomes champion by defeating Judy Grable and 11 others in a 13 woman Battle Royal.

September 17th, 1966 - Betty Boucher beats The Fabulous Moolah for the title.

October 1966 - The Fabulous Moolah beats Betty Boucher for the title.

March 10th, 1968 - Yukiko Tomoe beats The Fabulous Moolah for the title.

April 2nd, 1968 - The Fabulous Moolah beats Yukiko Tomoe for the title.

1976 - Sue Green defeats The Fabulous Moolah.

1976 - The Fabulous Moolah defeats Sue Green.

October 8th, 1978 - Evelyn Stevens beats The Fabulous Moolah.

October 10th, 1978 - The Fabulous Moolah beats Evelyn Stevens.

April 10th, 1987 - Debbie Combs beats The Fabulous Moolah (Moolah's NWA champion reign lasted from 1956 to 1987).

May 9th, 1996 - Malia Hosaka defeats Debbie Combs.

May 10th, 1996 - Debbie Combs defeats Malia Hosaka.

October 1996 - Debbie Combs was stripped of the title.

October 14th, 2000 - Strawberry Fields beats Leilani Kai.

November 2nd, 2000 - Strawberry Fields loses her title because of injury.

August 23rd, 2002 - Madison beats Bam Bam Bambi

October 26th, 2002 - Char Starr beats Madison

December 6th, 2002 - Madison defeats Char Starr.

March 12th, 2003 - Leilani Kai beats Madison (at TNA in a non-televised match).

June 19th, 2004 - Leilani Kai is stripped of the title after many no-shows.

June 19th, 2004 - Kiley McLean beats Kameo.

April 23rd, 2005 - Lexie Fyfe defeats Kiley McLean.

October 8th, 2005 - Christie Ricci beats Lexie Fyfe and Tasha Simone for the NWA Women Title.

January 27th, 2007 - MsChif defeats Christie Ricci.

May 5th, 2007 - Awesome Kong beats MsChif.

April 27th, 2008 - MsChif beats Awesome Kong; holds the NWA Women Title currently.
