Awesome Kong was champion and had completely dominated the entire TNA Knockout
division. Kong had the title and nobody could even compete. She put up a $25,000
bounty on herself and offered people in the crowd the chance for it if they
could beat her.
Taylor Wilde was in the crowd on a few occasions raising her hand and hoping for the opportunity to face Kong for the big money. Finally getting her chance she faced Awesome Kong for the bounty and came up short.
Raisha Saeed, friend of Awesome Kong, suggested anyone to beat her would get a chance against Awesome Kong for the $25,000 and the TNA Knockout Title.
Taylor Wilde got another chance with Kong when she defeated Raisha Saeed on July 3rd, 2008. On July 10th, 2008 Taylor got the opportunity to face Awesome Kong again, this time for $25,000 and title.
For most of the match Taylor was getting stomped, Awesome Kong through a number of punches, slams... moves that would have taken most out immediately. Taylor survived all of that when it came down to an Awesome Bomb which was blocked by a number of punches to the head from Taylor Wilde which allowed her back on her feet. When Kong went to strike her again she went down to the canvas and "school-girled" her in a shocking 3 count that stunned everyone, including Taylor. She became TNA Knockout champion and $25,000 richer.
