Afa Anoa'i, known in the 1980s as The Wild Samoan, is the Founder and Owner of WXW (World Xtreme Wrestling). Established in 1998 ths promotion started with a large televised Supercard featuring some big names like Sabu, King Kong Bundy, The Rock, Mankind and many more. WXW is Northeastern-based centering in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

In 2008, Afa took his promotion to Florida. Quickly gaining a following here, WXW events can be seen in Minneola, FL and has been seen in Leesburg, FL.

September 26th, 2009 marked the year anniversary of WXW conception in Florida and was celebrated with a great event featuring the debut of Sarona Snuka, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka's daughter as well as a special appearance from The Rock.

Since 2002, World Xtreme Wrestling has held a WXW Women's Elite 8 Tournament which has featured some of the biggest names in pro wrestling like Gail Kim, Traci Brooks and Angelina Love.

November 14th, 2009 is the next WXW Women's Elite 8 Tournament and will showcase the best talent to date.
