WWE Layla El

WWE Layla El, winner of the 2006 WWE Diva Search. Since signing her to a contract, the WWE has handled her career with care. Layla's debut match came at Smackdown on October 24th, 2006 in a trick or treat battle royal in which The Miz prevented her from doing much and got her eliminated.

 On January 23rd, 2007 Layla El joined ECW which had her dancing and in another storyline with the Miz where her and 2 other female wrestlers had a crush on him.

July 7th, 2008 she debuted on RAW in a tag team loss teaming with Jillian Hall against Kelly Kelly and Mickie James. Again she did very little wrestling and April 5th, 2009 competed in the Wrestlemania XXV 25-Diva Battle Royal which was won by Santino(a) Marella. 10 days later Layla El was drafted back to Smackdown where she had several conflicts with Eve Torres. All conflicts were won by Eve Torres.

In the fall of 2009 Layla El was given some chances to compete in singles matches, she defeated Melina on September 11th, 2009.

Before entering a wrestling career, Layla was a professional dancer. She spent over 3 years performing with James Brown.

She was born in London, England but of Moroccan decent. Layla was born June 25th, 1978 and now residing in Miami, Florida.
