WXW Mercedes Martinez

WXW Mercedes Martinez is a very competitive wrestler. Many of her wrestling peers consider her one of the most vicious and skilled wrestlers in the world. Mercedes was born November 17th, 1980 in Waterbury, Connecticut. She was athletic and in sports in school and proceeded her education with a major in criminal justice.

Shortly after her 20th birthday she decided to start a wrestling career. Mercedes began training with Jason Knight in October of 2000. Just a month later she debuted in a victory against Trinity Campbell on November 12th, 2000.

Mercedes Martinez is deep in the Indy circuit having aligned herself to many promotions. Some of the more notable ones include World Extreme Wrestling (WXW), SHIMMER and Ring of Honor (ROH).

 November 6th, 2005 at the 1st SHIMMER event she was in a 20 minute draw against Sara Del Rey. March 26th, 2006 Mercedes debuted at ROH. In April 2006 she debuted with ChickFight (IV).

In 2006 and 2008 she won the WXW Women's Elite 8 Tournament which features the best wrestlers in the world.

February 10th, 2008 Mercedes Martinez wrestled against Kacee Carlisle and won the WXW Women's Title. (3 time champion)

She also won the WXW Cruiserweight Title

Mercedes Martinez is signed with Wrestlicious (televised March 2010) as Maria Toro.
